Who we are
Clarisink sells under-sink water filtration systems to customers in the United Kingdom. For any privacy question, contact us at support@clarisink.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number (if supplied) and order details. When you contact us we keep the content of that correspondence. We also collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed.
Payments
Payments are processed by our checkout provider. We never see or store your full card number — card data is handled directly by the payment processor under PCI DSS.
Why we use your data
To take and fulfil orders and handle returns (performance of a contract), to meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation), to prevent fraud and improve the site (legitimate interests), and to send marketing email only where you have opted in (consent — you can withdraw at any time).
Sharing
We share data only with the providers needed to run the shop: our ecommerce and hosting platforms, payment processor, delivery carriers and our accountant. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep your basket and checkout session working, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential cookies are required for checkout to function.
Retention
Order records are kept for six years to satisfy UK tax law. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Support emails are kept for two years.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email support@clarisink.com and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
