About this product
The carbon block is the workhorse cartridge across our range — it appears as a stage in every system we sell, which is why it is the one most customers reorder.
Replace it every six months or 4,000 litres, whichever comes first. Unlike a sediment filter, a spent carbon block gives you no visual cue: it does not clog or discolour, it simply stops adsorbing once its surface area is saturated. The first sign is usually chlorine taste returning.
If you are on an RO system, this cartridge is protecting your membrane as much as it is improving taste. Chlorine damages RO membranes, and the carbon block is what stops it getting there.

- Carbon does not remove dissolved solids, fluoride or nitrates.
